CARBURETOR REBUILD
We rebuild all makes and model of motorcycle carburetors (and occasionally car carburetors). All carburetor rebuilds include vapor blasting, complete disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, proper repairs, and brand new OEM (or high quality aftermarket parts if OEM is not available). Each set of carburetors will be leak tested, bench synced, and set back to Factory specs unless otherwise specified. Carbs can also be jetted for pod filters and exhaust changes. When jetting for non-stock setups we are happy to recommend jet changes but can NOT guarantee it will be perfect.
All carburetors we rebuild have a 45-day guarantee which begins when the carbs are shipped. During this period ANY changes made to the carbs without first contacting Midwest Vintage voids the warranty. Changes that may void warrant include dissembling, drilling, replacing any part in or on the carb, or running the carbs without an inline fuel filter. Vacuum syncing is acceptable when done properly. We do not offer refunds. We strive for perfection on each set of carburetors we rebuild, however, when dealing with 40-year-old carbs and parts, there can be a rare issue. If you encounter ANY issue please contact us and it will be made right. This will be done at our discretion. Occasionally, some carbs can not be rebuilt. The most common non-rebuildable carbs are the 1980-1982 CB650 carbs. After inspection, we will work with you to source a new set if current set in not rebuildable. After the purchase of any carbs or carb rebuild, we will be happy to help with any carb servicing or questions for as long as you own the bike. We are happy to assist in the fine-tuning of all rebuilt carbs.
